Build and publish your school website
Choose a template, set your colours and fonts, edit content blocks, and publish pages to your public site.
Build and publish your school website
Every school on the platform gets a public website. The Website module is the content management system behind it — no coding required.
1. Templates & design
Open Website → Templates & Design → Templates & Design (the hub). From here you can:
- create, duplicate and delete named site templates
- set the active template for your live site
- open the Design Studio for advanced design work
- open the Content Manager to edit what the site says
The Websites tab holds the site record itself:
- Template gallery / active template
- Font and primary/secondary colours
- SEO title suffix — appended to page titles for search engines
Choose a template that matches your school's character, then adjust the colours to your brand.
2. Pages
Open Website → Templates & Design → Pages. Each page has:
- Title and slug — the slug is the page's web address, so keep it short and stable
- Published toggle — unpublished pages are hidden from the public site
- Homepage toggle — exactly one page should be the homepage
- Website — which site the page belongs to
Use Visual Editor on a page to arrange its content, or edit the content through the Content Manager.
3. Content
Open Website → Templates & Design → Content Manager. It edits the content blocks inside the active template — headings, text, images, call-to-action labels and card collections — while the design stays locked. That means staff can update the message without breaking the layout.
Upload images directly from the tool where a block expects one.
4. Publish
- Make sure the pages you want are Published.
- Confirm the homepage is marked.
- Check the site in a browser — use the preview where available, and test on a phone.
Your admissions page (/apply-online), contact details and announcements all live on this site. Families arriving from search or social media land here first, so keep term dates and contact information current.
Change the slug of a live page only when you must — old links will stop working. Prefer editing the title and content.
